Happy Election Day! Make sure you exercise your right to vote today! Lose your right to complain if you don’t! I’ll be so glad when today is through because the political ads are enough to send anyone over the edge!
Enough about that and on to my card for today. The challenge for HYCCT1423 was to use tissue paper on your card. I opted to use the Faux Silk technique.
I had pink tissue paper on hand and stamped the largest damask shape from MFT Damask Designs in Razzle Berry ink. I then crumpled it a bit and cut it out with a Circle STAX die, adhering it with spray adhesive to another white circle the same size. The card design was kept very simple to allow for that POP of the image. The designer paper is from Echo Park Be Mine. The sentiment is from Clearly Sentimental about Anniversaries. A few sequins and done!
