Where am I?

Hi readers!

I have found that blogging is just too underappreciated and too much of a time suck these days unless you are on a bigger design team with the requirement of a blog.  As I have paid $$ to hold the pinkroomtherapy.com domain, I plan to let it go as the year ends.

My crafting is not at the pace it was years ago.  If you are interested in what I’m making, please check out my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/pinkroomtherapy).  Additionally, if you are on FB, please like the page and like or comment my posts — this is the next thing to go.  FB would love for me to spend some $$ and boost my posts, but that isn’t going to happen.

The best source is Instagram (@pinkroomtherapy) — it is a mixture of my crafting, my pets and outside shots of life around me.  I do not share my family or children on IG, as it is a public account.

As always, thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Squiggles

Hi all!  Happy Friday!  Well, we got more snow yesterday.  Kids had their 4th and hopefully last snow day of this school year.  Based on my three outings to shovel, I’d say we got close to 9 inches.  We are running out of room for the snow banks.  I’m reaching my cutoff point for winter.  🙂

Today I wanted to share the cards I made for a stamping get together last weekend.  Squiggles and scribbles are very in right now and I saw a fantastic tag on Instagram {by the way, you can follow me there @pinkroomtherapy} that inspired this card.

This was actually my second attempt with this card, but I actually like it more!  I stamped the squiggle from Whimsical Wishes in Versamark on a {pre-cut with Blueprints 13} watercolor panel.  I was looking to do 4 squiggles, but realized they were too far apart for my liking {annoyance of Versamark} so I squeezed another squiggle in there.  I then embossed them with white embossing powder.  Next up was coloring them with my gelatos and a watercolor brush.  The sentiment is from Whimsical Wishes as well and I added in a trio of sequins.  The card base is a beautiful Ocean Mist {I think} from Gina K.

This was my first attempt.  My squiggles were embossed with clear embossing powder vs the white of above.  I prefer the white embossing powder. Again some sequins and a Melon Berry from PTI card base.

Here’s my lovely group of friends with our creations on Sunday.
